Approach

Many foundations, one front door.

Donors should not need a new account for every cause they support, and foundations should not share a bank account to make that possible. Infaq keeps the money and the admins apart and gives donors one front door.

How are bank transfers matched?

Every donation gets a reference code. Infaq reads each foundation's account through open banking every hour and marks a donation paid when the code and amount match.
